"Duplicate commands are appearing in the Available Commands Window."

This may be caused by either a problem with a Commands data file, or the contents of entries in a user's Mac OS X Address Book...

Try these steps:

STEP #1

1. Quit MacSpeech Dictate
2. Open Finder
3. Go to User's Home Folder/Library/Application Support/MacSpeech/Commands
4. Delete the file [username].commandsdata
5. Close Finder window
6. Relaunch MacSpeech Dictate
7. Check to see if Commands are still duplicated in the Available Commands Window. If so, try Step #2 below.

STEP #2

1. Open MacSpeech Dictate
2. Go to the Dictate menu
3. Choose Preferences menu item
4. Go to the Command tab
5. Uncheck the option for "Generate Email Commands at Startup"
6. Close Preferences window
7. Quit MacSpeech Dictate
8. Relaunch MacSpeech Dictate
