When creating a new voice profile, you choose a configuration for language. There are several different versions of English supported in MacSpeech Dictate v1.3. Please choose the English that you speak, NOT the English setting you have configured in the operating system. For instance, if you are from the UK, you would choose UK English, so the speech recognition is optimized for an UK accent, even if your system is set to US English.
