MacUser Award - Business Software of the Year

by MacSpeech, Inc.

MacSpeech Dictate wins MacUser Business Software of the Year.

"Five out of five mice: The best voice recognition and control system we've come across."
-- MacUser, May 2009 Review

MacUser editors weren't just horsing around at the London Zoo when they honored MacSpeech at the annual MacUser Awards ceremony. All of the Leopard and Snow Leopard fans in attendance perked up their ears as MacUser Editor-in-Chief Nik Rawlinson declared MacSpeech Dictate the winner as "Business Software of the Year."

To quote Rawlinson from the MacUser editorial review from May 2009:

"It's fair to say that MacSpeech Dictate has restored our faith in Mac-based voice recognition software…The application is reasonably priced, and now that we have got used to the idea of thinking into a microphone rather than the keyboard, we're hooked."

This Business Software of the Year award follows the Education Product of the Year award that MacWorld UK bestowed upon MacSpeech Dictate in July. MacUser described the significance of the MacUser Awards:

"The MacUser Awards reflect the very best products for Mac users, the very cream of the industry’s output over the last 12 months. These awards cover the market from end to end, and provide our readers with a list of products they should be coveting."

At MacSpeech, we're quite honored (and even a little humbled) by MacUser's Business Software of the Year award. One also might say we're as "proud as a peacock."
